Friendship is Magic seems to invite a lot of satirical political discussion and i like old propaganda aesthetics so one thing lead to another...

I attempted to recreate an old soviet poster, using mostly of captures from the show.

The font at the top is Wadim Giant by Jens Nink

There's also a grunge texture in there, according to tinyeye and the best of my knowledge it's by Princess-of-Shadows

Good, but in terms of functionality, (if it is, in fact, Soviet or Communist related) it's null. Celestia, being a monarch, could not gain support of a Communist group, as a monarch is seen as a head of a centralised state, whereas Communism calls for the absence of a centralised state. If it's Socialist, then it would indeed be politically correct.

I'd like to thank you so much for making this image! I am a democratic-socialist myself and have a bit of an old nostalgic indulgence for the old 'socialist-realist' images like those ones even if I was by no means a 'political supporter' of old Soviet Union after Stalin took over or North Korea today. Being I'm also a brony I got this image printed on a T-shirt and wore it yesterday at my local brony meet up and then continued to wear it that evening when I attending a film night with some comrades to watch a film about the Russian Revolution
